Insurance policy application flow
We rebuilt and hardened the aanvraagstraat, the main entry point for every incoming insurance application at one of the largest insurers in the Netherlands. It serves hundreds of thousands of users.
a.s.r. needed a new identity applied across its corporate platform, but the Vue component layer had grown over years and could not take that change cleanly. We restructured it, put automated tests around everything we touched, and coordinated the rollout across the platform around campaigns that were already running.
A platform wide change on a live commercial website is an architecture and scheduling problem before it is anything else. Marketing had campaigns in flight. IT had releases planned. The rollout had to land without walking into either.
Underneath, the real obstacle was the component layer. It had grown over years without a consistent structure, so a change that should have been made once had to be made in dozens of places, and there was no test coverage to say whether any of those changes had broken behaviour.
The rollout landed across the site without disrupting a single active campaign, and the component layer underneath it came out of the project maintainable and covered by tests. The next platform wide change is a fraction of the work this one was.

We designed the release process for the platform that carries every incoming insurance application at one of the largest insurers in the Netherlands, ran it, and chaired the ceremonies around it. Releases became routine.
A full platform move from Sitecore and Vite to headless Contentstack and Nuxt.js, delivered while the website stayed open to visitors.
