Insurance policy application flow
We rebuilt and hardened the aanvraagstraat, the main entry point for every incoming insurance application at one of the largest insurers in the Netherlands. It serves hundreds of thousands of users.
a.s.r.'s corporate platform ran on Vue.js and Vite against a Sitecore CMS. Editorial work was heavy and the platform was expensive to extend. We helped move the whole thing to headless Contentstack with a server side rendered Nuxt.js application on top, over a programme that ran for more than a year.
Complex Sitecore content structures had to be mapped onto Contentstack without taking away the editorial flexibility the content teams depended on. Get that translation wrong and editors lose the ability to do their job.
The website could not go dark. It stayed available to visitors throughout, which meant staged delivery rather than a single cutover, and it meant business expectations and engineering reality had to be kept in step for the whole programme.
a.s.r. came out of the migration with a modern editorial workflow on Contentstack, a content model that fits how the business actually works, and a server side rendered Nuxt.js application that is cheaper to extend than the stack it replaced.

We designed the release process for the platform that carries every incoming insurance application at one of the largest insurers in the Netherlands, ran it, and chaired the ceremonies around it. Releases became routine.
We restructured a Vue component layer that had grown past the point of clean change, put automated tests around it, and rolled the result across an entire insurance platform without interrupting live campaigns.
